Hey Bryan, really want this book to succeed which is why I’m going to be so critical of the illustrations. These illustrations are not good at all. There’s a lot of basic mistakes that a professional artist shouldn’t be making. One example: the muscle man’s torso : leg ratio changes between the two panels.
Keeping character proportions consistent is a basic competency you should expect from an artist, and having it be off in a draft this far along is a red flag to me.
Hm. As a happy owner of "Open borders" and a Weinersmith's patreon - I liked Zach's style more. More of an issue: the ratio info:panel seems lower :(
Still: looking forward to get my copy. :D
