How were the Japanese less horrible than the Chinese Nationalists during WW2? That take is really baffling to me. The Japanese engaged in germ warfare, they forced Chinese to become "comfort women", they engaged in competitions over which officer could behead more prisoners, there was the Rape of Nanking etc. What comparable things did the Chinese Nationalists do?
